Wondering if anyone can help, my car really struggles to get speed up and on the motorway at about 4500 rpm the car really pulls back and the engine management system light comes in. This only happens in fourth and fifth gear. I've had problems with the idle ocntrol valve before. Any ideas of what it could be? Cheers.

doubt its the icv if its not idling at the time 
can u do a paperclip test to get the fault code?

Havn't tried paperclip test yet, i'll give it a go.

Paperclip test won't work. Pins not in the right place. Probly have to take it down to a garage
