i tried getting the arches off today (the plastic outer bit) but couldnt get it off. iam sure i undone all the screws as i followed the haynes manual but it just wouldnt come off. any tips

front or rears? or both?
ive my rears off at the mo and they just prised off when all screws were undone.
Aint attempted to take rears off at the moment ...wondering how they come off?
must look at the haynes manual but its in the garage...anyone tell me wuickly how to get them off as id like an idea now?
