engine management light flashes at about 4-5000revs when i give it some in 1st,light flashes and revs drop in a instant and car jerks like a bucking bronco whatever that is

its your CTS, where you have no water in the engine the CTS thinks the engine is cold, did you fill with coolant like i told you? hmmmm... i bet you didnt. if you cant find the prroblem bby tomorrow evening come to mine and ill give it a propper look over.

im thinking your electrics need to be soldered and we need to sort those wires behind the engine cos you obviously have a loose connection there. bring it to mine tomorrow as im not doing anything and we can have a look at it properly.

it is so messed up, i try and drive it and soon as i pull off it just starts jerking like mad and does'nt wanna go. half the time its fine though. really annoying

sounds like you have a dodgy earth on that alternator loom at the back of the engine, im not doing anything tomorrow so ill come to yours, fancy a BBQ?

nothing to do with the air intake system? i remember an experiment on my car resulted in something like that
