yeah 4.2 is fine for most usuage and you wont really be able to notice when you print photos out unless you go too big either

I've got the Fuji F810 which is basically the same camera minus the large optical zoom and its really good.

So would this camera be a step in the right direction towards using a SLR? Id love a SLR but cant afford one in the near future but my little compact only has the minimal of settings and takes shite night time pics etc.
