hi guys i rammed my car into a curb couple of weeks ago, an the alloy was pushed into the arch towards the back of the car, i have replaced the wishbone wish has made it better (ish) the wheel is still pushed back into the arch but not as muchits out by 1 1/2 inchs, nothing looks bent that i can see. should there any play in the wishbone left to right movement if i jack it up an take off the antiroll bar an the other bar?
p.s when i say the antiroll bar i mean the one that bolts onto the wishbone an goes around the frount of the car to the other wheel.there is another bar paired with the anti roll bar which is bolted to the wish bone and the front of the car. the bar that is bolted to the front of the car seems to be like a positioner for the wishbone left to right so if i tighten it im hoping it will bring the wheel forward a bout 1 1/2 inch. (fingers crossed) anybody?

Yeah its the tie bar the affects how far forward/backwards the wheel sits in the arch. I'd say its very very hard to stretch the tie bar so i'd guess front crossmember is bent...

yes but if the cross member has been pushed foward then this pushes the wheel fowrs no matter how much you tighten it up
