One the 2nd island there's a building that pretty high, one of the tallest I think.
Get on a bike and get to the top, then just ride off
Either that or grab a parachute and try to free fall into the tinest bit of water possible

why would you need more than 25 though? after 30 your cornia cannot interpret the difference. Have you ever tried running san andreas with the frame lock off?? thought as much. it looks gay as fuck and clips like mad. with frame lock off on vice city, the game is really weird to play, like everything is speeded up too much. same with san andreas
I suspect you owe me an apology.

think Dave was getting at something else...
yes the eye can't see any different past 30 but I still like to know that the game is running nice and smooth. 20FPS is a bit slow and I imagine it runs even slower if there's a lot happening (rain slowed down the PS2 version incredibly whilst driving)

no 20 is the lowest it dips, it runs at 25 for the rest of the time, which is the frame cap, having it at above that spoils the effect of the game IMO

actually your eye can only see 23fps. anything more is unnoticable,
the reason you want high as possible FPS is when something happens, ie lots of smoke, and people running about..
if your getting 25 fps normal good look in playing in smokey conditions.
how do you find out the fps on cod?

i suspect i dont. COD runs like shit on 20-30 FPS, now mine is around 230 its so much smoother and more accurate also it doesnt slow down.
chris, the console command for COD FPS is.....
/show fps_0
or something like that, or just download a program called Fraps, this allows you to record in game video and sound, screenshots, and will also show the FPS.

Anyone noticed what happens if you don't do anything for a while and leave him stood there? Was just on phone with SA in background, noticed screen moving, and the camera starts lookin around, zoomin in on any womens tits or ass as they walk by It's the little touches that make this game great

Well i can certainly notice the difference between 60fps, and 30fps. I played Rallisport Challenge 2 (60fps) and then switched to forza (which is 30). I instantly noticed the difference, but after about 10 seconds, it just seemed normal to me.
60fps just looks alot more fluid imo.

Runs at 20 something FPS, so very happy, got detail on low with 1280x1024, but max distance rendering and it runs well. A great looking game considering its the same engine as GTA and GTA:VC. Lots of new graphical touches here and there that make the game feel more life-like. Real cool doing a ton down the freeway with thick fog
thats a pain, ive got a similar spec pc
AMD Athlon 2600XP (2.08GHZ)
1024MB DDR 400MHZ
Nvidia Geforce FX5600 XT
and it runs shit, kinda anoying. might have to wack the detail level down to low aswell

I had to do that daveo, my spec is almost identical to yours, but with 2.8 processor. Runs ok on low with high resolution tho...
So much fun with a trailer on your truck
