mates engine is fooked its a 1.6 16v and he's looking into his options.
1. 106 gti running 135bhp
2. 2.0l conversion (cheapest found so far is regal at £3500
3. ???
opinions? or options?

Yep drive in drive out lee mitchell is the man to see, has a great record on satidfied customers and hes a great bloke.
Id budget 1750 and have new pumps and belts put onto the car!

well ill have his old engine if he does get a conversion aslong as its an x16xe!
but only need the block, head, manifolds (not exhaust), no need for gearbox, loom, ecu, etc...
