I have seen some pics of monitors where the heating vents are! How does that work?
Was thinking of maybe putting a screen a bit lower down towards the centre console.
Ideas and pics please

I like this idea, still removing the vents but sacrificing the pointless vent slider thing and keeping the lcd display, its a shop but looks wicked

id remove the lcd display and maybe fit it onto the front of the steering wheel for sumthign really crazy. only if u dont hvae an airbag type steering wheels tho

Thats an interesting question, what does happen to the air output?? Ive only ever seen this on other peoples cars, i guess you must be able to cut it off somehow

i blocked off the air output. otherwise u get condensation on the screen i think. hold on ive got a pic...

the bar also had to be trimmed, but u can just look past that to c the blocked bits

its alot easier to fit a screen into a b behind the vents, and to block it off i made a card template then duck taped it in place, ill see if i can get some pictures up

i just got rid of the vents, i only have the vents that come out of your feet

this is mine (a very old pic) i got rid of vents and mfd havent blocked the vents behind and havent had any probs (good idea though)

Some great ideas.
Anyone got a spare centre bit for sale? Not cutting mine up till I have a spare (in case I fook it).
Any tips on using fibreglass? Complete novice so no idea at all.
