lived in the north east for 4 years now. in the office todayoverheared a few lads. they were on about monkeys and hartlepool, having a joke about it

yeah a monkey came over on a boat and they belived it to be a french spy so they tried and hung it as a spy, hung it on the fish sands down the headland right near were i live, hence the name monkey hangers
