My GSi is idling at about 1200 revs. Is it very likely to be the ICV? What else could it be, how much is a new ICV?

I think they're around £90, mine had to be changed on my SRi 16v.

Is there any way of telling which of the two it might be? Or is it just trial and error?

I managed to get a second hand AFM for 50 notes, try giving them (ICV and AFM) a clean with carb cleaner (obviously not at the same time) and see if it clears up!
