Take the chicken first leaving the corn and the fox and then come back. So far as i'm aware foxes aren't partial to a bit of corn.

Starting with COOL, change one letter at a time until you have the word HEAT. Each change must result in a proper word. What is the minimum number of steps required to achieve this change?

Assign every letter of the alphabet its numerical value: A=1, B=2, C=3, and so on, up to Z=26. Can you find a 6 letter word which has a total over 115? For example WIZARD = 24 + 9 + 26 + 1 + 18 + 4 = 82.

Dodgy --Dave-- was washing windows on a multi-storey office building when he slipped and fell off his fifty foot ladder, directly onto the concrete pavement below. Amazingly, he didn't hurt himself at all. How can this be possible?

a man is walking down an aisle in a shopping market...

he gets hit in the head by tomatoes and is rushed to hospital where he is treated from severe head wound....

How could tomatoes cause such an injury?
