well ive just managed to get my bonnet open by getting someone to push down while i pull the handle, but now how do i tighten the cable up?

ill try to explain it cos i dont have any pics.

open the bonnet up and look at the slam panel. on the engine side of the slam panel theres a black tube type thing with a screw holding it down. undo this screw and pull the tube towards the passenger side wing. then screw it back up so that it stays there.

dont pull it too far else it will always be open never shut, look at the whole in the slam panel to adjust it so u can still see about 5 mm
