Dragster in Herbie livery

its nearly finished, just need to stick the 1300cc in it to get it road legal, then i can stick the 1.8 Subaru Legasy engine in it one the adaptor plate arrives

this pic is from when we did the promotion for the new Herbie film at VUE cinema in Southport. the car had to be trailered there, as it has no engine or MOT. we took 7 other beetles and 3 VW campers down there too.

did all the work myself........ exept the paint job. not bad for a free car which was goin to the scrappy. its got lots of new parts, adjustable suspension, high ratio gearbox, centreline alloys (used in drag racing -they are a solid disk), 6 point rollcage, bucket seat, harness, one peice race weight flip front, race weight fibreglass rear wings and engine cover, even the bumpers are fibreglass. disk brakes, new heater-channels (structual part of the car) new front suspension, including the beam, new light weight running boards, full bare shell respray, including all the inderneith of the car, which is also hammerited.

cant afford to go to the national meet, as i am totally skint. i need some cash to pay for the MOT on the bug, thats why i am sellin all this corsa stuff, and random crap in my garage.

aye it is different, aspecially when i pull up next to an impreza and waste its ass

this car is seriously light. one person can pick the front of it up!
