nah thos race x 1's are good,i've got a cone filter one for my 1.0l 12v and it definatly makes a difference to the noise at least.everyone comments on how loud it is even if it doesn't do anything powerwise.

I don't TBH lol,i'm just going on the basis of having no engine problems or anything like that since i've had it,it doesn't bother me too much cos if something does go wrong its a good excuse to get something more powerful! lol

nah just not all of us can afford to spend £50+ on an air filter, you think i chose a race x filter over a k&n or pipercross filter

well, if you cant afford something that actually filters the air, stick with standard. its never going to do much for performance anyway.

if you want noise just buy an exhaust n drill your air box! Air filter will just increase petrol consumption. A pointless mod IMO unless you have a powerful engine that it will actually make a difference to performance

gotta laugh at some of the folk on here, K&N pod filters are actually extremely poor when it comes to filtering and air resistance. against a standard AC Delco OEM filter, they dont even come close to the efficiency. K&N panel filters however, are a pretty good deal.

my corsa b 1.6sport is better with the standard air box anyway, i tried everything else, i tried pipercross xl and normal, g-max, viper, green, and they all gave it flatsports, i have a k&n on it the now with a tiny flatspot low down the revs and i have 2direct cold air feeds onto it and its still shit, back to the standard box me thinks and ill drill a big hole and put a hose to the bottom, that should free up some air
