Just had MOT about a week ago and now car is due for 3rd year service. Worth costs!!

Booked it into Vauxhall for about week and a half away and getting courtesy car.
I assume its not going to cost extra having courtesy car?? (I am with vauxhall insurance). When seeing some car programs it always says about the service book having stamps from the official dealers etc which is better for selling. Is it really worth it???

This is an expensive month - MOT, Service and tyres

is good to have dealer stamp but depends on price, i serviced my car myself with all genuine vaux parts, buy through trade club get 20% off and then my own time makes it a lot cheaper

not getting it done for week and half cause courtesy car not available till then

actually going to call local garage close to work to see there cost. (and get tyres done at some time)

Vauxhall said service would cost £149 - how much would it be about in a local garage (will be calling later but just want an idea in case local garage is expensive)

Thanks

Personally I would not necessarily regard a car with all dealer S/H stamps as a good thing, some of the lazy, thich spoons in those places are probably less qualified that me to change the oil
