The fuel gauge has stopped working & keeps showing the fuel light even though its got plenty in it, anyone know whats wrong/how to fix it?

its probably your sender unit thats faulty, plug another in and see if that cures it.

its the bit mounted in the fuel tank to measure the level of fuel. Gives out a resistance dependant on the amount of fuel.
