will vary a lot depending where you go, anywhere between £250-£500. If your confident with a spanner get a haynes and have a go yourself.

Just i can get an engine etc for £150 but i suspect the gaskets gone!

cheap headgasket kit for a c16xe would be about 120ish thats replacing just crucial gaskets, bolts... etc. a kit with everything you need is about 200 i think from vauxhall.

c16xe headgasket is a tough one to do on the drive without power tools though.
