F20 Gearbox (CUSTOM) Close Ratio Gears with Wide Ratio Final Drive increases mph in every gear (75mph in 2nd, 110 in 3rd, 144mph in 4th, 178mph in 5th (if you dare) ,

Made up by Transmission specialists, good condition, clean

Any proof of the work do on this gearbox?
what ratios?
what final drive is being used? as even a 4x4 one will only get you around the 160mark max?

Sorry guys,

I wasn't notified of the replies (bloody settings)

The gearbox is one of two & was made by mate who has been in the transmissions business for 10 years, he wouldn't give me the ratios as that's a secret, only time I got to use this box was against a S2000 upto 3rd gear, i just had nose on him (Std. Nova XE)

I have had this off the clock in 4th, speed in 5th was calculated by my transmission mate on his computer.

Without providing whats been done I don't think anybody is going to waste there money on it!

I don't think the 5th gear would be too spectacular on an XE, sounds about same as 6th on mine, and an XE isn't going to be going anywhere quick in that gear!

Go and ask your mate for the specs please
