Was its worth it? thinking this is the only thing that could possibly satisfy my power lust, so it may get done after christmas, how much y'all paying on insurance for em too ?

Got teething probs , thought about selling it after 2 days , until i took it a good drive then it puts the big smile on your face and you know its all worth while now back too the teething probs ............

You should turbo an 8v or do a proper re-build including a re-con turbo, should be reliable then

The 3 P's, it takes a lot of patience, persistence and perseverance I've found with mine. And 3 days after I sornd it for winter, I took it for a quick drive and it was spot on, until it blew a boost hose off! But yes, worth it imo.

mine has a good week followed by a bad day then a good week etc, at the mo its running almost bang on.
mine dont particulaly put a smile on my face just something brown i have to wipe away when i get home

if i had not paid for the totaly years insurance on my astra i think i wud sell it!!!
drive it few times a week normally in the night after work or when roads are quiet! yesterday i took it out and traffic was really bad, still dont stop u from overtaking cos its got so much power but it just did make me think this car is to fast for normal roads with normal traffic!
back on the 1.5d 106 today and feeling safe once again.......hehe
