mine has packed in on the XE and i dont like the fred flintstone starts no more

do any other vauxhall lumps use the same one?

i had to buy a starter the other day for my xe, used http://www.247spares.co.uk and got one for £30 delivered next day.

cavalier 2litre 8v sri's have the same starter as thats what ive got on me let, cost a tenner from a scrappy.

id assume most 2litre 8v cavs and astra's use the same starter as they all have the same block essentially

I would hazard a guess that all big block starter motors are the same...

no, diesels have higher compression ratio.
