Is that a VTA dump valve per chance?

that 1.8T engine DOES NOT like them, i dont care what anyone says, it throws up all kind of error codes when it dumps and the ECU is tryign to work out wtf is going on.

try putting the OE dump valve back on and resetting the ECU.

in response to your original question dont tell them, its a trader. If it were a private sale I would tell them.

Seth, ive had this argument with you before.

Ive had numerous, never had a single problem. Ive been running one for 2 years without a single problem. I dont care what you say. They work. Also, never had a single fault code due to them. You are basing your argument on what a few people have said. I know they are not the best for performance but they do work, there are tonnes of VAG turbo cars out there running them and they run perfect, providing you move it over to the cold side and not the stock location.

it was great to start with, then all the faults started building up, its not so long ago i replaced the damn ecu at a cost of 700 quid, its now needing a service, mot is due, few other minor problems but this one is just dangerous, cant be cutting out in middle of motorway. Now, the audi alarm is starting to go off whenever we disarm the fucking car.

I only want trouble free motoring
