most of u will know, my car is for sale, and i didnt know what i wanted between the Astra GSi MK4 or the Honda Civic type r. there are a few reasons y i choose the turbo:

  1. got more extras, i.e cruise control, traction control etc
  2. cheaper to insure
  3. not many around, type r's are everywhere u look
  4. they r a nice looking car

am i making the right choice between these two cars???

Definitely.

I agree about the common-ness about the civic. On a normal day I see loads of Type R's (especially black ones for some reason), but hardly any GSi's.

If you've got any questions about them, just ask, I've had mine just short of a year now with no problems at all.

www.astra-sport.co.uk is worth a look also.
