Impose restrictions on what files you can download in internet explorer. For some reason some restrictions have just started appearing on certain file extensions. I use a custom security level in internet explorer, I use the Windows firewall and I use F-Secure virus scanner. All has worked fine until recently. If I try dowloading anything, even images sometimes, A message appears saying my security settings do not allow me to download this... I am very confused.

It only happens in IE, Netscape is fine, but I hate Netscape because it takes ages to load up...

Firefox is the same as Netscape really, so I would imagine same results... I'm just wondering how these settings have been changed It's a mystery...

I've tried everything I can think of with the settings, firewall and virus scanning software. No luck... Thats why I thought it could be the ISP...

Its you security settings in IE from the sound of the message.
Not ISP related.
Most likely the custom security settings.

If the browser is popping up the message, its the browser. If it was arriving slowly, or you got a message in a web page, its upstream.
