everytime someone sends me an mp3 over msn (wma files as well) i click on it, and this pops up:
Windows Security Warning
Windows found that this file is potentially harmful.
To help protect you computer, Windows has blocked access to this file.
and it deletes the file automatically this is really annoying me now! anyone know why its doing this!?

to combat piracy, try zip filing it then sending it

This happened to me the other day when ash sent me a .exe, couldnt get around that prob

Mine wont let me logon. Neither will windows messanger. MSN says my gateway is offline??? Means nothing to me.

rename the file to something like .non an see if that sends then rename it back?
tried that?

try trillian - i reckon its far better than MSN and seems to lets you send any file type without problems (well for me anyway!)

why not rename the file to mysong.doc then you rename it after you recieve it
