my mrs had trouble with n.u basically she gave details of 1.6 sport corsa and when cetificate arrived it said 1.4 16v well reg number direct from dvla should have said engine size so.......
anyways she was quoted 550 quid and then she rang back to say they had engine size wrong and they tried to up quote by another 500 quid and took hell of alot of trouble to get them to accept it was there fault not mrs and they had to honour the first quote, because they based in india they could not understand what we meant and basically was hassle
not sure what there like to claim but my mrs has had alot of troble and was there mistake

i was with them when i was 17 and a few months later i wrote my corsa off, they asked me why it had an aftermarket exhaust on and they must had seen it was loweredbut they still payed me more than book price for the car and payed it quickly.

my missus is 20 and she got a 1.4 16v sport insured within a few weeks of passing her test for £890! that was with endsleigh. (16" alloys and lowered)
had to haggle a bit to get to that price, but they are really good for new drivers (especially students)
