how god-damn good are early 1990 Toyota engines i leaned me engine out tonight using the AFM, and my god i cannot believe how much sharper the engine is 152bhp standard, and going by other peoples results, a 5 click twist of the AFM cog unleashes about 15bhp

Simple really, I'm not on the site constantly to remind people of the rules. I however am online now and see someone breaking the rules, thus I'm taking action by alerting David to the fact that he is indeed breaking the rules.

Morning Dave,

Im not all that clued up on the NA yota engines, but I do know that the 3S-GTE runs amazingly rich maps as a kind of safety precaution (obviously running lean on a turbo motor causes things to melt!)


They seem to just piss petrol into the wind like there is no tommorow!!

indeed, its not just the Turbos, nearly all early 90's Toyota 4cyl engines run incredibly rich. im getting far better ecoonomy now, and better performance for 15minutes work
