The fan belt was catching on the cambelt cover, so i checked and checked and noticed the alternator had be raped by an angle grider before and was only rated 55 amps... i have a spare 65 amp alternator that looks like it has a spacer on the pulley and will line up ok with the crank pulley... what rating alternator should the xe have???
