astra gsi or seat leon cupra R,
there both reliable and can be left most places
anything jap etc is going to cost you an arm and a leg to run
i really fancy a s14 200sx but the running costs

Not sure, the type of car you sound like you're after rules out the s2k (what i'd have) but teg type r would be my second choice or if not what about an older s3? I really like the astra gsi's but i'd prefer the others first

ur makign out that the CTR has no power at all unless when u hit vtec.

CTR might be a nice car to drive (wouldn't know myself) but it still looks like a breadvan so that alone would rule it out for me. Especially when the Leon and Astra are much better looking.
Leon if you want practicality or Astra if you aren't bothered about having rear doors. (IMO)
