can somebody help me in the right direction my bootlight has never worked so today i thought i would have a look at it.the car is a corsa sport 1.6 r plate.the bulb is fine but tried a new one just in case.took the light unit out you have the red on the top and the brown/white both connected to the light both are lighting up the test lamp as is the unit across the bulb. i looked in the manual and it showes the brown/white going to the door pin switch so i checked there but theres no power running along to the door pin so i took the brown/white wire off the light unit and made up a wire to a new door pin thinking that would work but still the light wont come on even when the switch has power and dont want i push the switch shut am i missing something ? ive just installed a nice amp and sub and take it that the alarm wont work if the light isant working so can somebody save me on this.??

open up the bonnet.. yes u are reading this correctly, bonnet

there's a little switch there that indicates if it's oppenned or not.. make sure it isn't stuck.. for some odd reasons most alarms putt together the bonnet and bootlid sensor

is that doesn't help check the fuses
