Was driving down the a1 earlier just before the m62 junction northbound and there was an undercover police car.
It was a honda accord type r  in black, twin exhausts and massive spoiler. I only knew it was a copper when he booted it after a BMW X5 with blue and red lights a going.....
There is also a copper that hangs about on the A1 at the warmsworth junction and the M1 at the Parkway junction.
just a freindly warning as i have nearly been caught by them

Rule of thumb - DONT hammer it down M1 around the M62 junction, especially at night. Used to drive back to halls in York late at night after coming home at weekends and the amount of cars that I've past at the side of the road is stupid.
As far as undercover cars go they have a dark blue T5, and a few marked up T5s and BMW estates, and they WILL catch up to you in no time at all. A guy overtook me doing about a hundred and somat just before A64 turnoff, I past the BMW, he pulled out behind me and sped by, less than a minute later i pass em and hes already got the guy out the car.

Yeah seen plenty of marked police vehicles on the A1 and M1 especially. Never noticed any undercover ones, but that's likely because they are... UNDERCOVER. IMAO LOL.
Anyway, took a trek to Sheffield about a week ago. Went A1, M8 then M1 and onto Parkway. Loads of road works taking place on the M18. But what the FOOOOOK are all those yellow GATSO cameras doing all down the M18 on both sides? Surely they aren't there permanently and just there while the road works are taking place?
Anyone else noticed these? Keith?

Yeah, just a temp thing untill roadworks are done.
Watch it around the junction before the M1. An unmarked T5 estate lurks there all day
