cambelt kits are about 100ish, water pumpt 30 ish. i could do it all for under 500 no worries i reckcon

tbh mate u will prob still get problems; mine was a brand new vaux trade in but the problems were teething problems with the conversion; was off the road more than on it for a few months after conversion I would deff suggest gettin a decent loom and wiring aswell as a good lump

Remember that its not just the engine that could go wrong.
Of all the problems ive experienced with my car not 1 has been anything to do with the actual engine.
I had my oil seals go on the turbo, my loom was tatty and i had to have some of it re-wired/plugged.
As Nova said a new loom would be an amazing investment IMO

a new loom, or it just fitted correctly.
ive never had any bothers with the wiring looms of the engine, its always been the additions ive made to the loom or car electrics that have been the bothers
