I reckon its either the tps or icv, why didnt you get your car dioged .... also did your car just rev randomly when it was sitting still like one minute it would idle at 800 the next it would start to rev higher etc.. ?

TBH its came out cheaper this way plus i new it would be one of the meny sensors...
the only thing i had to pay for fully was a new icv....which was causing jumping when coming off the accelerator, did try cleaning it with carb cleaner but was still there but wasnt as bad.... a dirty/fooked icv can cause odd rev's, but then again the other sensors can casue it to
AMM, EGR, TPS i got for nothing so i replaced them... they could of worked just as well if i cleaned them but i felt it would only be best to replace them incase of future trouble

Ok and what did your car actually do mate, did it just rev and hold at high idle and not drop down no matter what you do, if mine revs high at like 2k if floor the throttle to 5k then let it drop off it goes back to 800 rpm what it should be, this is why i think its the ICV cause of the spring i thought its probably getting stuck, cant have my car dioged though and cant afford to waste money

problems i had were:
lumpy/lack of power - TPS PROBLEM
jerking when coming off the accelerator - ICV PROBLEM
I know what your saying about the icv... i would think it was the prob right away...
Is your icv really dirty ?..... if its full of grit and crap it can casue it to not move right... i.e muck in the spring area

Havent took it off yet mate going to do it on Saturday, when i remove it is there any new O-rings or gaskets i need to get hold off for when i refit it ?

The haynes says replace O ring in a 1.6....
You should get one btw m8 its a corsa bible

Ok ill get an O-ring for Saturday and remove it and clean it , anything special to clean it with ? such as carb cleaner ?

tps you can clean with carb cleaner... but i think when you get tps trouble its more or less needing replaced

Cleaned ICV and TPS and connectors today and all the throttle body bit, it now idles mint
Just to sort out the EML problem again now

ECU did nto change anything might have to have a look at gettin a new valve fitted to mine. The thing about mine is the EML is not comin on at all not even when ur ignition is on!
