depends on year and other spec, but i've seen them go for £1500

never really know what you are getting, if the conversion has been done well or bodged and if the engine is good or about to fall to pieces

i paid £4000 for mine off me m8 69000 fsh apart from the engine which had just been rebuilt 2.1xe. which ive rebuilt again.

yeh but u can see if engine bay looks mess and if loom as bin attached by 5 year old cant you, i kept dans reciept from garage who fitted it with proof that it had been rebuilt and what was replaced at what mileage etc

i think there just as reliable as any car tbh, ive had my xe in for best part of year now and gotta say its bin used for work everyday and has given me no trouble whatsoever, but i think i need new plugs but i would not class that as major failure, as car with 10k miles may need them so...

no reason why if its ok it cant for what it would normal

i had mine what 8 months and had no trouble engine wise, engine fitting wise...
