when in 3rd and 5th going above 3k (ish) the box rattle's i can feel aswell as hear this.

now if i hold the gear stick down (towards 4th) it will stop,

what is it??

new gearbox?

ok, is this easy do re-fix?

i have never seen a gear linkage

mine does this, its not the box its the gear stick.... lift the gaiter up and you will see the reason, there is play in it

do u have to tighten is up or something?? and if so how?

im VERY NON machnical - no need for me to be apart from fn as my dad is an AA patrol man and ends up taking over all the work,
but i want to do this one myself!
