traction... i have sod all traction, it lights tyres up in 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th... i'm having to pull out like a granny in her daewoo, any ways of gaining traction, obviously there's tyres which are good for grippage ???

toyo proxes are good in the dry. gay in wet imo.
actually all tyres are gay in wet, especially for XE

Ive got toyo proxes on my xe and its wkd doesnt spin in 2nd at all, 1st.......well its a xe its going to spin! Its not to bad in the wet either!

stop riding clutch helps teach urself some launch control
i can pull away now in dry with just minimal spin in first under full throttle, its all about timing and control

seriously people go for these c20xe engines and fun "road hog" style tyres! even on my 1.4 i had decent tyres! now i have conti sport contacts and michlin pilot exaltos on the car.... have 2 of each att the moment.... it grips! handles so well with them.....
