might be buying me a runabout sri 16v...but it smokes on start up, not seen the car yet, any major worries?

probably valve stem oil seals. oil leaks past them while the engine isnt running and drips into the cylinder and gets burnt as soon as you start the engine.

also could be piston rings as piston rings form a seal against bore when engine warmed up. if smoking on start up this can indicate wear on piston rings, so not sealing correctly.....however more than likely it will be valve stem seals had leaked oil when car not running.

buy it and put up with it imo, only 450, could try some valovoline stem seal stuff or similar, for thatr money who cares

sounds fair bud, will just try to find out when i can get it and how far u are all depends if this sri is tidyish
