Ok basically, the tanks full with water and screenwash. The AA guy showed me that the screenwash does come out (he powered by a tool thing he had) but his conclusion was that there is no response from the starting motor (i.e. when you hit switch by steering wheel).
Any idea how this can be sorted? Or how much i can expect to pay?

First things first. You need to check and see if the wiring is at fault. Use a multimeter to do a continuity test on the circuit...
It's more than likely the stalk will be buggered over the wiring as thats the only component that can really wear out in the system. If it is, go get yourself a new one from a scrappy...

Test the fuse, sounds daft but it was what was wrong wiv mine. apparantly a guy from vauxhall i know says its quite common for the fuse to blow, replace it with a slightly bigger amp rating.
the fuse box in under the bonnet, well was in the 1.7dti, but this is covered in ure owners manual.

I can't vouch for corsa C's but on my 'B' i had the same problem. basically when the motor wasn't turning when u pulled th lever next to the steering wheel. I had to remove the passenger wheel, the arch liner and the water bottle to get to the motor. Once i got to it i noticed it has seized so i wd40 and that sorted out. then i had to put everything back

cheers for the help guys, i was told that the fuse was ok, because the AA guy managed to get the water to squirt out by using a machine to power it directly from underthe bonnet. The AA guy did check the fluid bottle...

It'll be the fuse mate, if he powered it straight to the motor then it wont have gone through the fuse anyway. Washer motor fuses go for fun on the Corsa C's

Find the fuse box, pull it out, push a new one in.
Look on the lid to find out which one it is.

It says in the handbook which fuse it is, but under the bonnet take the lid off the fuse box then under that there is a seperate little cover covering about 8 Fuses. The one for the washers is under there.
