just wondered if a nova steering wheel hub (boss) would fit my corsa? the boss came from a k plate 1.2 nova and my corsa is an R reg 1.2

ok, ring your local halfords to check, but I think it will fit no problems.
Is it a mountney hub?
If so, I think it will be M78X, as that fitted my 93 Corsa and came from a nova.
