Right, I've just been cut up big time by some prick in a white van on my way home. Went to use the horn and it didnt work I have recently put a GSi steering wheel on my "Swing" however, went to use the horn and it didnt work? Thought I may have just got a prob with the fact I've changed wheels, but I now dont have any power to the horn?

Yeh but is the horn set up behind the wheel different to a poverty spec "Swing"? If so, I will try to track down a GSi horn thing. This is non airbag GSi btw.

Button is identical and wiring should be. Can you not use your old button? Sounds like the GSi one is goosed.

I thought they were supposed to be identical! I'll try and fit the old horn button back on and see if that makes a difference. Thanks

checked - not the prob - had water pump changed last week - reckon theres any chance they may have disconnected the horn for some random reason and forgotten to reconnect it afterwards? :S

no, no where near it
ok if the fuse is ok disconnect the two wires off the push and the horn, put a normal 12v bulb "brake light whatever" on the wires by the horn itself
then join the two at the push, it the bulb lights up its the horn itself that faulty and you need a new one

Cheers, will try this tomorrow and post up result. How much is a horn outta interest? Easy enough to fit etc and possibly salvage from a scrappy?

Easy to fit an easy to find as they all have them.
Alternatively if you want more factory plus, find a Vectra/Omega/Senator/Carlton/some Cavs and get a two tone.
Fill fit in the same place, keep as much bracket as you can as you'll need it to mount it on yours, but thats an ace mod.
I would personally come back with choices in case the part you get doesn't work either. Have you checked your unit when wired in directly?
