My sister has a saxo with factory speakers and a sony xplod cd unit fitted, she wants to fit a sub and an amp. What needs to be connected to what and how easy is it to do?Thanx

she'll need to run a power cable from the bettery to the amp, and a remote cable from the HU to the amp and also a set of phonos from the HU to the amp

check out the ICE section in the tutorial forum. Have a look at the amp wiring guide thread

on a side note, you can buy a wiring kit with all the relevent cables in, think mine was abotu £20.

Get hold of one of them and if theres any cables left over at the end theres something wrong - this kit will also have the speaker cable to go from the amp to the sub
