I'm looking for like a box of some sort where i can put the sterao cage and stereo to mout under the glove box like people use for there DVD players.

any know?

could use the bit of trim from round the stereo as a template

Thats not what your looking for, as that is as ppocket to fit INTO a DIN slot. Basically for cars that come with a double DIN radio as standard to fill the space left when fitting an aftermarket single DIN unit.
You are looking for more along the lines of:

Halfords also sell them, but they are around £15 IIRC
