Try owning a 1.2 8V with a 4 speed box then! Most I've seen out of mine is 105 - Thats with a long run down a hill! It'll get to 90 reasonably easy though, and yes, agreed about hills, they kill a 1.2! Im sure my 4 speed box makes it more fun tbh - it NEEDS thrashing in every gear to get it anywhere!

Well no, 6k itl do in any gear, but 3rd is the only one I will do it in! 4th goes to bout 5k, 1st and 2nd will probably disintergrate @ 6k! (Seeing as 5.5k is supposed to be redline iirc)

Fair enough, mine does 25 in first, but it's a 5 speed, never redlined any other gear

i think the four speed suits the 1.2 8v better, my missus merit 4 spd used to pull better thru the gears opposed my 1.2 5 speed

Yes, tbh it does seem to accelerate better - just ideally needs a 5th @ about 75/80 though to try and shut it up a bit! People are always suprised its only a 4 speed tho!
