This is random, but someone else might have been wanting to say this for ages as well!

When i've been behind a standard 106, old shape or an AX it looks like the back end is trying to head towards the curb and the front end to the middle of the road, basically like a permanent mini drift in a straight line!

I'm not loosing the plot honest, just wondered why they do this! It dont look safe!

Mmm i did think this but alot of them i've followed seem to not travel down straight, as though the back axle is offset to the front.

Its only the old shape ones that i've noticed.

saxo's are like it too, i think its related to the crappy skinny wheels they have on as standard, as ones with alloys dont seem to do it

It's the bearings in the rear trailing arms, when they go the wheels start to angle inwards and you need a replacement rear beam. 205, 106, 306, 309, AX, they all do it.

FCUK A DUCK

Years ago when I was on the motorway behind my mates AX GT I noticed that whilst he was driving in a straight line I could see the rear quarter panel, the car look twisted.

How strange you mention this now

Those French cars certainly are a crock of sh1te.

My old Metro GTi used to do this.

It was on an H plate, and the rear bearings collapsed

Yeah, "crabbing". My mates old Fiesta used to do this too. Looked really unsafe, especially at speeds
