Whats the difference? What is the memory needed for, i.e. Giga includes 1GB memory, but why? I'm after a PSP but wondering which one I should go for? It'd be used for games, and the occasional browsing of the net. Not for movies, doubt i'd bother watching films.

if you intend to just play games the value pack will do as you will just be keeping save games on there.

however, if your get the correct firmware 2.0 or lower you can do certain things, like emulator, rip games to memory stick and put movies on the stick.

this is why you would want a larger memory stick.

So Giga isn't necessary? I'm not into emulators or any of that, just rather pick it up and play it. If I wanted to I could just buy a memory stick at a later date couldnt I?

Whats the base pack all about? Does it not include anything I would probably need? I've ruled out the giga pack. Its now base or value.
