Right people i need some facts some figures as proof and some vids jus for browsing

Obviously the corsa xe is a 2.0 16v
Is the vectra a 2.5 or a 2.6 v6 ?

both are std spec engines what are the 0 - 60 on both roughly

Would the corsa put the vectra to a test or would the vectra leave the corsa standing

i dont know any thing other than the corsa is smaller so gotta be lighter which means it should be rapid

How does a vectra perform say if we had a private track an these two gave it beans what is the end result

i know i am going on a bit but i need info before i go into an arguement

vectra can be both 2.5 and 2.6

corsa would win on the 1/4
veccy on top speed
corsa on track

i thought the vectra would leave the corsa at about 50 but apparently not

dont know if you go on gti mr lee but vec sri past a sly comment the other day with regards to his v6 leaving me for sh 1 t on a ttrack

your compareing a standard road car against something with an engine swap

corsa would win on standing starts and track veccy would win on everything else including comfort and cruising which gets my vote

dude your in a corsa hes in a big vectra prob with his air conditioning on,sitting on his big cumfy seat cruising over bumps that your rattling your teeth out on,listening to something nice and clear on his cd player as his v6 is hardly breaking sweat while all you can hear is your engine getting revd to fuck trying your hardest to beat him

i did say std vec v6

only wanted fact an figure no de-moralising.

must say my xe is fairly quiet my air con works fine ride height is as std as it could possibly be

cant get an more comfort than cally leathers an to be honest if i was left behind i would still be smile-ing cos its a vauxhall that has gone past and not a ford pug, citroen

i had a v6 vec and i found that it handled great and pulled really well

also depends which model of v6 kus the gsi's are around 190 bhp and the others around 170

the gsi 2.6 is 178 the gsi 2.5 190. dont know how it works out thought but just does

I could only comment on a track as racing on the road is dangerous and highly illegal. suspect the corsa would be faster. vectra is a big lump.

vectra v6's also come with a 20mm lower chassis as standard which lotus made for them

Where have you pulled those figures from? 2.5 v6 170bhp/2.6 v6 (gsi) 195bhp, and the 2.6 v6 cdx is 170 bhp.
