Is it just broadband?
We are looking to get a vpn connection set up with our server and have been ringing round and one firm said the best way to do it is with an adsl line which they were wanting £90 per month for. We already have broandband at the office.
Thanks, Mark

if you have braodband already installed, then just setup or buy a decent router for broadband connections, or go the whole hog and put a decent NAT firewall in place too. You will need an external Static IP address, setup user names passwords etc via PPTP or IPSEC Config if you fealing brave, then just use windows VPN client to setup the connections putting the remote IP address in the "Gateway" field the rest in fairly self explanatory.
and the company that wanted to charge you £90 a month tell them to get fucked. if you really feel you need a seperate connection go on 1 month contract with www.zen.co.uk and tell them u want a stsatic IP and what you want to use it for. will be about £30 - £40 a month a very reliable - also whilst your at it purchase a draytek router off them, very good for small companies settings up VPN's etc
apologies for the essay

Thanks for the offer mate but I just dont have the time to spend trying things out anymore as I have been promoted and my boss doesnt want me spending much time on the IT side of things and would rather just pay someone to come and do it and get it right first time.
