i have P38 to fill the scuffs
Grey Primer
Silver Paint
Clear lacquer
and loads of different grades of wet n dry
obviously i know which order to do the paint in
any tips for the prep work/ painting?

Is P38 like a resin?
In prepping I'd make sure the whole area was completley rough to get a good starting surface.
Are you going to leave the primer for a day to harden before you apply the top coat.

i used a black and decker mouse to sand mine down at first. Used some filler to fill the scuffs then hand sanded those bits. Then primer, sort any probs, then spray em up!

Flat4, got all week off, so i'll prep them tomorrow, spray them sunday and paint them tuesday or something

also, yes, the p38 is 2 part body filler, resin based, with a mix in hardener

Wouldn't you be better off using liquid metal? P38 is quite soft isn't it??

scuffs are only shallow, P38 was cheaper, and will do the job just fine
|
