i think i have a problem when i switch my ignition on i should here the fuel pump buzz but i dont ,i also have no fuel pressure because ive pressed the button on the fuel rail and theres no fuel squirtin out, but the car starts and runs fine i just want to no if this is safe (i.e if i had a crash)would the fuel pump stop,if its been bodged how do i wire it properly so the fuel pump primes properly.need info quick so i can sort thanks

fuel pump doesnt kick in till engine cranking, sound normal to me

you should hear it prime up for about 4 seconds when the ignition is switched on.

not allways able to hear it that well tho so it might. if there was no fuel pressure it wouldnt start let alone run. there should be a relay in the drivers side kick panel if its a 16v a think listen for it click

ye the relay clicks but im get a strong smell of fuel when ive been for a run in it

check ur pipes ent split then i had mine do it b4
