Just insured car through Flux and all the paperwork came through this morning.

They have asked me a couple of things i just need clarification on....

1. they need me to confirm my car has an immobilser. I didnt even realise my car had one TBH when i phoned up for quote, the guy asked about alarms, I said, it has an alarm but it was already fitted to the car when I bought it, I assume factory fitted....

.....so, will my car have an immobiliser of some sorts fitted as standard?

it also asks for, where the alarm was fitted, who fitted it and what their qualifications are

2. It asks me for 'proof of the club I am a member of', I guess i can just supply them with my membership number

Hmmmm dunno really, my GSi used to have factory alarm that ran off the horn

Just tell them its factory & fitted by Vauxhall

i had this from them. sent it all off 2day, they wanted photocopy of me licence, proof of club membership and proof of ncb. and now ive recieve another bunch of letters from them about the payments. ive neva had this much to fill in before when sorting out insurance!

they probably make u do all the paperwork so they dont have to and they save on costs etc
