alrite i just got a realy good deal on a c20xe engine and fitting kit.
was wondering what i should do first. i have got a powr cap, air filter, full system exhaust.
do only some performance manifolds fit into the engine bay of a corsa without coming into contact with the radiator etc...
i am looking to get throttle bodies for it when i get my holiday pay from ym work.
specs of other peoples c20xe's would be a big help.
thanks

mines a relitivly std xe with only ecu, exhaust and powercap as mods and the last owner ran a 14.7second 1/4 in it

mine is standard bar a gas flowed head and it does 14.7 on street tyres. car is stripped a bit, but there's still more to do.
next performance enhancement wil come from cams and or a large manifold.
i'm also planning a slightly customised inlet with larger throttle body, but i'm not sure if that'll bring any improvements as the standard inlet seems quite a good design

Thats not a 2.1 then Jimmy
14.4 std c20xe (induction kit and exhaust)
13.9 on my 2.1 (2mm overbore) with TB's running on 3cly and 185bhp
Std manifold is good upto about 190bhp....
Cams are only usefull if fitted with verniers and mapped
Headwork is good, but expoensive if not DIY
